That song is called the Battle Cry of Freedom at the end of that clip. That little savage looks sweet, but it loses me at the checkout with it’s price.

Funny, just yesterday I was wondering if a shotgun could be made out of pipe. The trigger mechanism is what I couldn’t work out. Never thought of firing it that way shown in the video. Thanks!

  2. I might add that this design is “combat tested”…Let that sink in.
They were used to great effect by guerrillas in the Philippines against the Japanese. Later they were used by guerrillas against the Marcos dictatorship. Ain’t history full of fun facts?

Own the old verion of the Savage in .22/20. My most used long gun. Think dad paid $60 for it back in the day.

Very nice videos – thank you for the links. Those combinations are handy, single shots they are but gives you options. I’ll bet nearly every hunter reading this can recall several instances of having the incorrect choice of firearm in their hands when a different animal showed up (rabbit when deer hunting, deer when bird hunting, etc.). We chuckle now, but if this occurs when hunger is a major factor – not so funny.
